Jump Coach 1 – Straight airs
7.30 - 9.30 - Teaching you everything you need to know to be able to start jumping on skis and learn how to grab.

Jump Coach 2 - Spins
7.30 - 9.30 – Know how to hit a kicker but want to know how to spin? This is the session for you. 180’s and beyond.

Once you’re feeling comfortable with your freestyle riding, why not come along to ride the Academy Park every Friday night. Pick up more hints and tips from our freestyle coaches and sponsored riders.  If you have any questions just grab one of our approachable coaches and ask away. Nothing is too simple or too tech to ask!

Intermediate 2
Who is it for? Anyone at our recreational standard – i.e. Level 4 Pass
Aim; To increase your ability and confidence on skis
What happens? Review progress. Improve your technique. Work on making turns more solid, more accurate – working towards parallel turns and to build confidence

Intermediate 3
Who is it for? Anyone who can ski using 'plough parallel' turns -i.e. Level 5 pass
Aim; To improve your skills and build confidence and ability and introduce 'parallel' turns
What happens? Your movement, timing and coordination will be improved, and you will be shown how to get the most from your skis.

Ski Coaching
First time or First place; Slalom gates and drills training to get you to the finish line faster. Drop in training sessions every other week with our professional race coach.
Junior Race Coaching:  for ages 3 to 15 years  - £20. Every Saturday: 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Moguls Coaching  - £45. Every other Monday;  7-10pm  [including practice hour]  Our instructors will make you a better mogul skier, whether it be your very first time or trying to get yourself closer to the 'zip line'. You will recieve 2 hours of coaching and 1 hour to practice afterwards. You must have completed our level 6 or equivalent and/or be a confident skier to attend this session. Ski Xcellence - £50, Alternate Tuesday evening 7 -10pm.  3  hours of intermediate and advanced ski instruction, including video analysis and feedback. For those who can already ski but want to improve their technique and skills.

SNOWBOARD

Looking to learn? Looking to improve? Or just looking for some friends to ride with?

Each week will alternate between ‘Jump’ coaching and ‘Rail’ coaching, with ‘Jib’ coaching available every week for those looking to ollie, nollie, butter and other flatland tricks to impress your mates with.
Jump Coach 1 – Straight airs
7.30 - 9.30 - Teaching you everything you need to know to be able to start jumping on a snowboard and learn to how to grab.

Rail Coach 1 – Beginner
7.30 - 9.30 - Teaching you everything you need to know to be able to start sliding rails and boxes on a snowboard

Rail Coach 2 – Intermediate
7.30 - 9.30 – Already know how to 50/50 and looking for the next challenge? This is the session for you. Board slides and beyond.

Intermediate 2
Who is it for? Anyone of recreational standard that can link turns from the top of our main slope – i.e. completed our level 4
Aim; To improve your skills, build confidence and ability and show you how to link your turns smoothly
What happens? Your qualified instructor will review progress and show you ways of improving your technique. You will work on linking your turns more smoothly, with more accuracy and building confidence along the way. Your instructor will help you correct any mistakes and work on your riding.

Intermediate 3
Who is it for? Anyone who can comfortably and smoothly link turns from the top of our main slope -i.e. completed our level 5
Aim; By now you should be linking your turns smoothly. Our qualified instructors will show you how to change the size of your turn enabling you to go exactly where you want on the slope. Your instructor will show you how to get the most from your snowboarding and take you to the next level! This lesson is ideal for preparing you for more advanced snowboarding tecnhniques such as freestyle and carving.

Snowboard Xcell - Alternate Tuesday Nights (7pm – 10pm)  - £50
This3 hour coaching session is designed to progress your Snowboarding by working on advanced riding techniques and putting them into practise.  With a maximum of 8 people per session the coaching can be tailored for your riding, enabling you to learn techniques for riding steeper terrain, carving effectively, riding fast & in control, Switch/Fakie and and includes video feedback.

Performance Board Weekends -  in association with Snowboardcoach.co.uk   
Looking at the fundamentals of snowboarding from basics through to carving and fakie. Courses will be offered over selected days during the summer only. Everyone attending will go away with an action plan on what to work on in the future, a CD with the video footage taken during the course and a workbook from the 2 days.

• Course Cost - £199 Includes all slope time, course/training costs, rental equipment and Snowboard Coach goodie pack!
• DATES for 2009: 16th & 17th May
                                  1st & 2nd August
• Day 1 – The fundamentals – The whole day is spent looking at how we make the board work and identifying problems or areas that could be improved on in your personal riding. The idea is to raise your own awareness in your riding to be able to make it better. We have a video session, a stance analysis and equipment check to make sure you’re getting the most out of your board.
• Day 2 – A full day of riding focusing on a higher level. We will have an introduction to carving and how to blend the fundamentals to get different types of turns. Moving onto fakie in the afternoon with a few flat land tricks thrown in for good measure. As well as another video session. Rounding off with a debrief over a beer in the bar.
