SNO!zone in the news - Peugeot gives SNO!zone a Ticket to Ride

Tue 18th Nov

SNO!zone staff are now driving around the country in style after striking a unique partnership with Peugeot to provide their new fleet of vehicles.

The supply of the four vehicles, which are fully branded with SNO!zone’s striking logo, will be free of charge in a deal which is worth £30,000 and will last until 30th September 2009.

SNO!zone, which operates three real snow sports centres in Milton Keynes, Castleford and Braehead, will receive a nine-seater Tepee van and three 308 fuel efficient cars from Peugeot’s newly launched ‘Blue Lion’ greener cars range.

In return for the use of the new fleet SNO!zone organised exclusive events for Peugeot customers at each of its three snow slopes during October.

300,000 customers received invitations to the events where they had the opportunity to try skiing or snowboarding on real snow with a taster lesson, have a go at tobogganing or ice sliding or enjoy skiing or snowboarding on the 170m long main snow slopes.

Lisa Allan, SNO!zone brand manager, said: “We are delighted with this unique new partnership agreement with Peugeot which gives their customers an exclusive chance to try snowsports in the UK for free.

“With three centres and regular events around the country, we cover a lot of miles so it was important for us to find a sponsor that could provide a greener option for our fleet.”

Peugeot’s Blue Lion range, recently launched at the British Motor Show, includes a range of cars with lower than average CO2 emissions which are manufactured in ISO 14001 certified factories.
