BASI Ski and Board Level 1
The BASI Level 1 Ski and Snowboard qualification allows you to teach on artificial snow surfaces within the UK, and is the entry level instructor qualification for those who wish to fully qualify, enabling them to teach in the mountains. This first level consists of a 5 day course (BASI Level 1 course), in addition all candidates are required to hold a valid first aid certificate (having undertaken the minimum of a 2 day course), and also need to complete 35 ‘shadow’ hours of teaching.

SKI Coaching Courses
This is a 5 day training and assessment course in which the student will be assessed on multiple variables including: Skiing safely, planning, conducting and evaluating an instructing session, participating in an accident and emergency activity, Knowing and understanding how to improve personal skiing and instructing performance. Freestyle Course| Ski and Board
This first level course is run as a parallel to the alpine ski coach qualification. This 3 day course aims to introduce candidates to the philosophies and skills to be an effective Freestyle Coach whilst developing riding over longer periods of time. Adaptive Skiing Course
The Adaptive Level 1 Instructor is valid for instructing in controlled environments in the UK. This means that you can instruct in Indoor Snow Centres throughout the UK. The course is centred on the learning progression which includes knowledge & awareness of disabilities to enable effective assessment of students, continual practical assessment (technical and teaching) & all safety requirements.
