Food and Beverage Manager

SNO!zone Milton Keynes currently has a vacancy for a Food & Beverage Manager working within our SNO!bar and Café reporting to the Facilities Manager.

You will be a crucial part of the SNO!zone management team, who is highly motivated, excellent communication and organizations skills and is able to lead, develop and influence a team.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

  • To manage the performance of the Food and Beverage team, planning and taking action to improve performance to ensure business objectives are met.
  • To be responsible for staff rota’s ensuring all events are covered and business requirements are met.
  • Responsible for price setting, maintaining margins and monitoring sales and wage budgets and stock reconciliation.
  • Responsible for monitoring and submitting all hours for payroll and financial processes on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • To follow, implement and maintain the company food safety management system in line with local authority and environmental health regulations.
  • To ensure the department provides a quality food and drink offering.
  • To maintain excellent relationships with all internal and external customers and suppliers.

The successful candidates must have experience in the Hospitality Industry; they must show a high level of customer focus, time management, and good decision making skills. You must have good word, excel and outlook skills.   A BII personal license is desirable but not essential.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week on a rota basis, which will include working weekends; a degree of flexibility is essential to work around peak season, busy periods and late night events in the bar.

Volunteer Ambassador “A flexible role at SNO!zone Milton Keynesl! Earning time on the snow!”

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as volunteers, this position is cold and warm side based, and to stand out from the crowd you must have excellent knowledge of the organisations operations, promotions and pricings.

The duties will include, but not limited to:

Aiding and assisting customers in Rental, Clobber and on the slope.

Serving and clearing equipment at busy times, skis, boards, boots, helmets, and assisting with fitting.  Helping customers get ready for lessons and their sessions.

Assisting queues in rental and on the slope.  Making sure our guests feel welcome at our venue and know what to do.  No-one should be left looking lost or left-out!

Assisting the Duty Manager and Team Leaders onsite and to represent SNO!zone.  Making sure it is a GREAT place for our guests to come and visit, and ensuring they want to return!

Chatting to our guests on the slope and assisting slope patrol and instructors with the operation of the slope and lessons.

You may be helping with lessons.  No major digging or lifting will be expected.

Reporting to the SNO!School Coordinators and Duty Manager.
