Snozone is the most dynamic and the largest indoor ski slope operator in the UK with sites in Milton Keynes,  Castleford and Basingstoke. SNOW SPORTS MANAGER – CASTLEFORD

Working as part of the Senior Management team, you will deliver the snow sports strategy an elite team of ski and snowboard coaches to deliver a great guest experience.   Key to this role is the implementation and monitoring of the Company brand standards for the department.

The successful candidate will have an ability to critically appraise and continuously develop the strategy to support the development of all slope products.

Duties will include:

  • To take responsibility for the departments P&L performance
  • Keep up to date with relevant teaching methods and ensure lesson structures remain consistent
  • Ensure all team members are exceeding targets and  objectives and that corrective coaching is applied where required
  • Ensure all instructor licenses are valid in advance of undertaking any scheduled lessons
  • Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Monitor all guest comments and ensure that they are dealt with in a professional manner
  • Act as the Senior Manager on shift and conduct opening and closing procedures
  • To provide inspiring leadership, be a standard bearer for the Company’s values and deliver outstanding guest service at all times

Qualifications:

Essential:      A Level standard or equivalent, BASI Level 2 or equivalent.

Desirable:     BASI Level 3 / ISIA, Dual Qualified

OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER – MILTON KEYNES

Working with a strong team of dedicated and professional individuals, your key focus in the role will be to:

  • Support the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and safe running of the site
  • Ensure all Brand Standards are in place
  • Organize the health and safety management system as allocated by the Operations Manager
  • To lead by example and offer outstanding engaging customer service to our customers
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the building through the management and appraisal of cleaning contractors.

INSTRUCTORS / COACHES – SKI & SNOWBOARD

Applications are welcome from Instructors qualified to BASI Level 1 or above (or equivalent) in Alpine Skiing or Snowboarding. We are also interested in hearing from instructors qualified to teach Freestyle, Race or Adaptive in either discipline. We recruit team members who effortlessly engage with guests, work effectively in teams and who revel in the challenge of delivering excellent lessons and sessions.

INSTRUCTORS – BASINGSTOKE

Full training will be provided for our adjustable indoor slope.

Candidates must be available to work shifts and weekends on a rota basis.

You will contribute to the team by taking responsibility for providing the highest possible standard of service that delivers an outstanding experience for our guests.

You will ideally have experience of working in the leisure or hospitality industry, however your energy and positive attitude are more important to us. You will be a proactive team member, keen to use your own initiative to always improve the guest experience.

Naturally, you will be available to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis and as we place a high value on teamwork, you will be happy to support your colleagues and work across all parts of the site as required.
