Snozone is the most dynamic and the largest indoor ski slope operator in the UK with sites in Milton Keynes,  Castleford and Basingstoke. INSTRUCTORS / COACHES – SKI & SNOWBOARD

We are looking for qualified, experienced Instructors to join us for our busy winter season.

Applications are welcome from Instructors qualified to BASI Level 1 and above (or equivalent) in Skiing or Snowboarding (including Freestyle). We recruit team members who effortlessly engage with guests, work effectively in teams and who revel in the challenge of delivering excellent lessons and sessions.

You will have a thorough induction into our ways of working and be available to work weekends and evenings on a rota basis. Delivering expert sessions, you will also have the opportunity to utilise the best real snow slope in the country for free!

INSTRUCTORS – BASINGSTOKE

Full training will be provided for our adjustable indoor slope.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER – CASTLEFORD

Working with a strong team of dedicated and professional individuals, your key focus in the role will be to:

  • Support the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and safe running of the site
  • Ensure all Brand Standards are in place
  • Organise the health and safety management system as allocated by the Operations Manager
  • To lead by example and offer outstanding engaging customer service to our customers
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the building through the management and appraisal of cleaning contractors.

RESTAURANT MANAGER – CASTLEFORD (FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS – MILTON KEYNES

Are you a maintenance / facilities engineer looking for something a little different?

We operate the best indoor real snow slope in the UK and we have a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who prides themselves in their work and wants provide the highest possible standard of service to ensure that the facility operates at it’s best at all times.

Working in a small team, you will deal with all maintenance issues in line with an agreed PPM schedule. If you have a trade such as plumbing, carpentry or as an electrician this would be really useful however your ability to work as a team player with a flexible approach is the most important part of joining our team.

As we operate a 7 day a week facility, there may be a requirement to work weekends on occasion and you will need to be over 18 year old to work with us with a full driving license.

HEAD OF RECEPTION- CASTLEFORD & MILTON KEYNES

We pride ourselves on providing the best service to  guests in the leisure industry! Working as part of a great team, we are looking for experienced Managers to ensure that we deliver this service for every guest, every day and without compromise on standards during our busy winter season.

You will take responsibility for:

  • Ensuring that all guests receive the best possible greeting upon entering the venue
  • Creating effective weekly rotas for your reception team
  • Managing the stock and order of our retail products
  • Ensuring that all receptionists are upselling our retail merchandise
  • Ensuring that all reception team members are fully conversant with all products and pricing
  • Operating as part of the venue management team

This position is offered on a fixed term contract for a minimum period of 4 months.

Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.

HEAD OF DISABILITY SNOW SPORTS – CASTLEFORD

At Snozone we not only believe that sport is for all ages and abilities but we actively demonstrate this commitment through our dedicated Disability Snow Sports department that delivers snow sports experiences and tuition across the range of abilities and disabilities.

Leading a team of Coaches, you will canvass, prospect, contact and meet with prospective groups who would be interested in learning to ski or develop their snow sports capabilities. You will also provide training to your adaptive instructors and provide encouragement for others to become qualified in disability snow sports.

HEAD OF CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES –  CASTLEFORD

As winners of the School Travel Awards, we are passionate about developing children through their snow sports journey!

We are looking for a enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Children’s Activities to drive forward our children’s product range. We are recruiting at our Castleford venue and this role is focused on the co-ordination, planning and implementation of our SnoAcademy and Holiday Camps plus other new initiatives as we constantly seek to innovate and create great experiences for children.

You will be responsible for a great team of Coaches and will have experience of supervising a team, creating rotas and training for performance. You will be keen to communicate with our guests, ensuring that re-bookings are made and we are increasing revenue potential.

Qualified to BASI level 1 as a minimum (or equivalent) you will be highly motivated with excellent judgement, drive and the ability to influence colleagues and guests.

SALES ADVISOR – MILTON KEYNES

Accountable to the Sales and Membership Manager, the ideal candidate will have a successful track record working within a sales team focused on over achievement of targets. You will support and assist the Sales team with the preparation and implementation of the sales activity calendar in order to generate awareness of Snozone and ensure we achieve our sales targets.

Proactively making outbound calls and answering inbound calls from our guests, you will work to daily targets and receive commission based on your success!

Key skills and attributes required are:

  • Proven sales experience
  • High performance in a single or multi-site business (not necessarily leisure)
  • Target driven sales approach
  • Proven ability to proactively work in the pursuit of improving closing ratios
  • High levels of communication and Customer Service skills
